Commercial Bay houses more food offerings alongside Harbour Eats – One Queen Dining and a number of restaurants throughout the precinct.
One Queen offers a number of local favourites such as Burger Burger and Hawker & Roll, to newbies like Ghost Donkey and Gochu. This space is an extension of Harbour Eats and offers excellent views out to the water and allows for customers to dine in, grab a drink – a shift from the Harbour Eats grab and go offer.
Additionally, there was a need to find innovative restaurants to suit the corporate market. Match sought out proven restaurant operators possessing ‘pulling power’, who had fresh concepts and could offer a point of difference in the City making the most of elevated North facing water views. As a key outcome, the two anchor restaurant terrace sites were leased to Ben Bayly of award winning The Grove & Baduzzi restaurant fame, joined by Saxon & Parole from New York helmed by their Michelin starred chef Brad Farmerie. Also added to the mix - Poni Room, a cozy seafood and rosé-centric American izakaya from Chefs Brad Farmerie and Nicole Gajadhar and The Lodge Bar which builds on Rodd & Gunn's ethos of sourcing only the finest materials, presenting a carefully curated offering of New Zealand's finest wines to be enjoyed with an intricately prepared food menu.
